Fun with Mom

Brian had to work all weekend, so one morning this weekend, I broke out my pedicure items and did my own pedicure.  I usually I do this at night I guess.  Ever so curious, the boys watched and then wanted their fingers painted.  So the colors were their idea....next weekend we might just play beauty parlor...

Henry-ism

Watched a special the other day on synchronized swimming.

Today Henry said "Remember that show we watched on secret ice swimming.  "
Yes, Henry I remember and who knows maybe secret ice swimming will be a sport on the Olympics some day.

Memorial Weekend Fun

Great visit to the Grand-Grandparents last week.  Everyone did great on the car ride.  Miles especially gets props for using the potty every stop we made, no accidents the whole time!  We crammed lots of fun into a weekend: 2 trips to the neighborhood pool, fishing, boat ride, mini golf, excellent luncheon at our favorite restaurant with killer pork chops, a bit of shopping, lego building, and fun in the yard with the garden hose.  It was a hot one, so we tried to cool off with all varieties of water play.  Our time there flew by all to fast.  Thanks for the fun Grandma and Grandpa!
