Plaid Pajama Christmas

O the weather outside is frightful, but these pajamas are sure keeping Henry warm his second Christmas. What a difference this year was from last. We went to Michigan and spent a ton of time visiting and opening presents, visiting and opening more presents, taking a sleigh ride and opening presents, oh and some sledding and opening presents. It was funny to have Brian's younger brother hand over his battery stash when Henry needed power for his new toys. Maybe he'll be equipped next year. Thanks to all our family and friends for a fun Christmas and 1st Birthday party!

My first wheels!

A birthday gift from Grandma, since she rides a bike she wanted to make sure I had one too.
Its supposed to have a bell, but mom tells me she forgot to put it on, and now maybe its lost...Hmmmm.
I'm wearing another gift from Great Grandma and Great Grandpa. They know just what I like too.

1st Birthday!

A whole year later, can't believe it! What a difference a year makes. We can't sleep, take a trip, ride our bikes, make breakfast, take a shower, take the dog for a walk... without thinking about Henry, without taking him with us, without making sure someone is watching him, and most of all without loving him. What an awesome year its been. Maybe the bicycle riding, training and winning has slipped to the wayside. Maybe the runs along lakeshore, trips to thy gym, and homemade healthy meals have fallen in the priorities of life list. But that's OK because they've been replaced with a happy, healthy, huggable little person named Henry. Happy Birthday Henry!

Tis the Season

So we thought we'd try the infamous Christmas photo. Last year Christmas cards were not in my plans as I didn't think you wanted to receive an ultrasound photo of your soon to be nephew, grandson, cousin, or boyfriend. An entire weekend spent chasing Henry around calling "Henry, HENRY, LOOK at Mama, HENRY! OOOh look A Cookie!" My neighbors must think we're complete lunatics. We tried everything to get him to look at our camera. So this one made the final cut. No smile, but he's a thinker anyway. Next year we're calling in the professionals.

The Henry Treatment

Can't seem to get enough of just about anything in his mouth. Visitors beware kitchin utensils, cups, and just about anything plastic may have been put through the Henry treatment
