Top Chef? Art Installation? Or just plain toddler mess?

Lunchtime today was quite entertaining for me, watching Henry experiment. I just wish it had all ended up in his tummy instead of a big soggy mess.

Henry made this beautiful picture the other day with his sitter. She sent it home complete in the frame. So nice! He did not sign his name however, I expect she helped with that, but he does know all the letters in his name and the colors!

He picked out the green shirt, I swear!

Henry has one, count it one piece of Michigan State apparel. I restrain myself from disposing of it properly, into the wastebasket because I do want to remain in the good graces of Nana, Aunt Julie, Uncle Shawn, and Uncle Craig and about a gazillion other relatives that bleed green. So when Henry reached for this shirt today for all its green glory, I didn't object. So here he is at dinner. Green plate, green fork, and a cool 'light-up' St. Pats cup his babysitter gave him today.

Fun outside day

Henry woke up with a hairdo I have never seen before. Brian thinks it might have something to do with the ice cube he had before bed? I don't know I wasn't home for the bedtime routine. We found it so funny we had to preserve it with pictures. Brian put the jungle gym together effortlessly. Henry can even climb up the rope ladder. This will be a great addition to our first summer with our own backyard:)

I love the comment Sara makes about Henry building the legos and Mia reading the directions. Ahhh sounds like an old married couple in the making!
