Playdate!

Our friend Ruby came out to the country for little outdoor time! She was really digging on Henry's lawnmower and pretty interested in the 'Michigan' tricycle. (See foreground bottom picture) Hmmmm maybe MSU is not where little Ruby will end up:)

My Boys

After learning about my sister's baby girl that can't arrive soon enough, I ran out and shopped for girl, girl, girl. Such cute stuff those darn stores have for girls. Don't you think these 2 boys will be the best cousins to that baby girl?? We are all so excited for them.

Henry pulled out the baby tent he calls it and crawled right down next to Miles. He was being complete big brother, showing Miles the mirror and toys. We enjoyed another of what have been many walks up to the train tracks to watch the trains.

I may not be able to put them in tights, and leggings, barrettes, and dresses. They can't wear ruffled diaper covers, mary janes, and skirts. But there will be a niece that we'll get to love and spoil and that is just perfect as perfect can be.

More Smiles

Henry and I were raking leaves in the yard this afternoon after our walk and Miles was dozing sweetly in his carseat. We looked over at him and he was literally laughing, at what we don't know. But it was so darn cute. Enjoy the ear to ear grins!

Peas in a Pod

Henry's little neighborhood friend was kind enough to let him take this for a test ride, but only on the condition that she accompany him.

Ventured out to Palos with both boys to watch daddy's bike race. Great weather, great fun and no crashes!! Yay for that!

Squishy cuteness on the changing table

Almost 7 weeks, oh how it flies!

Going to miss this slumbering baby time when I resume my normal work schedule next week. Miles is still full of giant ear to ear grins that squint up his eyes. He slept last night from 11:30-7. Can't ask for much more than that in the sleep world. This weekend we have lots we're looking forward to. Brian's got a road bike race I'm taking the boys to go watch. Henry is excited about that. Our neighborhood Oktorfest (I know in September??) is this weekend, full of kid music bands, pony rides and crafts. Here is a recent shot of Miles and my proud mama moment trying to make the neighborhood a little safer. One easy phone call to the police station really was effective:)
