Spring is near!

Thought we'd give the new raincoat and boots a try since rain is in the forecast. Henry loved walking around in it.

Eye Teeth

This explains the inconsolable, crying fit he had the other night. Notice the red ribbon?? Yes that's still the balloon.

While the mom wasn't looking...

I don't know what it is with paper products. I suppose its just another thing that makes a mess. You think this is absurd? Try taking all this away and picking it up while he looks on. The resulting melt-down is hilarious. Who knew that Tampax could bring a 1 year old to tears.

A Healthy House Divided

After Henry's first bout of flu, and mine, and Brian's we are healthy and praying we remain so. We've quickly learned that when the mom is sick and the baby is sick, dad just has to stay home. It surely is no fun when one resorts to syringes of Pedi-lyte to get the fluids into the child's tummy. Brian lovingly coined these Sake Bombs, as we'd pour the liquid into shot glasses in order for the syringe to suck it all up.

And what is going on with this weather, one day 10 inches of snow fall, the next it rains. The next day 6 inches of snow fall, then it rains. During one of the pesky rainy days, Henry assisted me to the ballot box. There is no shame in democratic grooming early on. To my dismay I return to our cozy and I thought Liberal house only to hear my husband has sided with the dark side. Why can't we all just get along?
Somehow we do, and laugh while doing it.

Dad's Loss, My Gain

Mom accidentally washed dad's wool cycling cap....and dried it. Uh-Oh.
So now it fits me! Pretty cool right?
