Eggs, Bacon and Balloon animals with Santa

Our whole family attended the Santa breakfast at Macy's on State this year.  We met Amanda's family down there again.  Its a great event and we really look forward to it.  The boys were pretty controlled, Miles and Lucy did a few laps around the room running at top speed.  Miles later had me chasing him through the coat department which covers a giant amount of square feet.  He even called out to a fellow shopper, "Out of my way!".  Yikes we have to work on manners.
We also enjoyed the State street windows.  And then walked over to Daley plaza for a mug of glog.  Also the site of our engagement 10 years ago.

More Birthday!

6 years old!  Cannot believe it.  We had a riot bowling with 15 kids all under the age of 6.  Angry birds is the hot item these days, so Henry requested Angry Bird themed cupcakes.  We also had Star Wars Angry Bird cookies that we sent all the kids home with.  It looks like Christmas happened at our house already which is sort of crazy, but I'm going with it.  Miles really enjoyed all the festivities of the party and though quite jealous, there is no lack of toys for Miles to have fun playing with too!

My Henry is 6!

Here are a few shots of the beginning of the party. Great fun! Little chaotic but that's to be expected with 15 under 6 year olds walking around in slippery floor with bowling balls!
The pic of Miles is from this week, headed in the bike trailer to his preschool holiday party, veggie tray and hummus!
Also got to spend a bit of time in Henry's classroom to celebrate with him. He was thrilled to have md there and I enjoyed reading them a book and helping with some math groups.

Montrose CX race

Well sadly there aren't pictures yet here of Brian racing and finishing incredibly well. But I've got kid pictures!! Enjoyed a mild day on the lakefront, even checked out the lake temp. I think this is the first Montrose race where we all actually were hot! Last year it was hard to leave the comfort of heated tents and cars!

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas
