Yes we ate the whole bag!

Henry and I polished off an entire bag of edamame today. This one goes out to you Dylan, "Dylan soybeans are good, YUMMY!" he says.

Miles...6 months...Man o Man its flying

6 months old?!! 6 months old?!! I can't believe it!
Miles has enjoyed his first taste of green beans this week and now applesauce. He really really love the applesauce. The green beans he would rather have enjoyed from afar, like splattered on the window and my shirt to be exact.

Some recent happenings...We had an outing to the library this morning. All the other children in the kids sections ooohed and ahhhed at the sleeping baby in the car seat. He has his 2 bottom middle teeth in. He rolled over once a week ago today, haven't seen him repeat the stunt but I'm sure it'll be soon. He still has a small bald spot on the back of his head just where his hair rubs off from sleeping. Anxious to see how that hair will grow in. He is full of smiles, laughs and is in LOVE with big brother Henry. If he is anywhere near nothing else matters and he watches Henry.

He accompanies us every Saturday for Henry's soccer practice and loves sitting up alert now and watching the kids. We started using the hanging bouncer you put over the molding of a door and he loves the freedom it gives him to turn in circles and bounce around.

Henry continues to be a great eater, enjoys all vegetables, eager to try anything and inherited the mama's sweet tooth. He had his first visit to the dentist a few weeks ago. Mostly was just shy, eventually warmed up to the hygienist and let her count his teeth and show me some tips to get his teeth good and clean. When the dentist came through to check on him he clammed up again, so we'll try another visit this summer. He's mostly potty trained. Still has an accident now and again but doing great! He continues to enjoy soccer Saturdays and going to the tot gym during the week with Rosie. He loves listening to books, playing with his cars and Thomas trains. He'd love to see some more snow, he has had a few sledding opportunities and a few snowmen this season but he'd dig a snowball fight as he asks for one every morning.

A 3 year old and a 6 month old leave little time for catching our breath but its so worth it. Can't miss these smiles!

Pizza Party

Our friends Nathan and Amelia came all the way out to the country for a visit. I thought they'd have fun decorating their own pizzas and they did:) We so enjoyed their visit!!

Playdate in the snow!

Fun day we had with Mia this weekend. The kiddos got along well enough. Mia was curious about all of Henry's different toys and was checking every nook and cranny out. Henry did a great job sharing his favorites which I thought would be the toughest part of the day. I will admit once the dads came home later that night I shared a beer with them, the clock struck 11, I put the baby monitor in front of them and declared "I'm off the clock". And up to bed I ran.
