Birthday Wish Granted

Everyone is finally healthy! We all enjoyed a busy weekend. Grandma, Grandpa, and Dylan were in visiting for part of the weekend. We accomplished more house unpacking, and getting settled and ready for new baby's arrival. Today for my birthday we enjoyed a fun and delicious dinner out followed by a walk through the woods. Henry literally ran the whole mile we walked. So great to see the spunk back in him.

Beautiful Southwest

We had the best time out visiting beautiful Phoenix, Scottsdale, Grand Canyon, and Sedona. I realize after the week finished that the 3 of us hadn't likely ever spent that much time together ever! Which is really nuts to think of that way, but isn't that true for all families? Busy lives we lead. We all got to enjoy some of our favorite things. Brian rented a mountain bike and tackled 4 or 5 different mountain parks and trails. Henry splashed in the pool, visited the Phoenix zoo, and the Phoenix Children's museum. I sat poolside with a great book. We were even able to enjoy a dinner out visiting cousins Shane and Anne and new baby Carson. Great weather, great scenery, and the much needed un-plugging put us all in a good mood.

I popped out tonight for a pedicure and later tonight Brian showed me what they did while I was gone. They were "supposed" to be packing and digging out Brian's summer clothes for our vacation. Well they found the clothes and whoa had fun once they did. Here is Henry trying on dad's shirt that will likely not make it in the suitcase if I have anything to say about it:)
