Summer Happens


 Once again we are enjoying the dinosaur pool in the backyard this summer.  Boys continue to find new inventive ways to keep cool adding beach balls and slides.




Had the idea to dine alfresco with an impromptu picnic.  The Tour de France was quickly approaching last week, so I thought lets celebrate with our favorite cheese, baguette, fruits and sweets dinner.  Took the boys to Whole Foods and let them pick, Henry chose blue cheese and little cheddar babybels.  Miles chose a stinky Morbier, (one of dad's favorites also!), and I turned it down a notch with some mild manchego.  Salamis, cookies and some fresh meringue cookies.  Henry eyed the olive bar and took charge picking out a big variety of all shapes, sizes, and colors.  I love that they will try anything and really enjoy being able to experience unique foods that are have become favorites of ours.  A bottle of wine and juice boxes finished the night off from cooking.
