Garden update
This mint started out as one small cutting given to us from our next door neighbor. Everyone said mint would just explode and it sure did. Success!

Capture the crawling before its gone
I know it'll be all too soon that Miles walks, so I needed to get his all too cute crawling body scooting along. I love the determined look and the quick breathing with a purpose. We love to squish those cute little toes!

Henry-ism
We were all in the car this weekend and had to do a turn-around in a church parking lot.
Brian made a comment: "This is a very nice looking church."
Henry asked: "Is this where God lives?"

YAY Daddy!
Brian spent an entire day on the bike Saturday and completed his first 100 mile mountain bike race.
We are so proud of him and glad he (and his bike) emerged undamaged.
Great job honey!!! We were cheering for you from afar!
8:36:39 was his rockin' time!

My only excuse is that its summer
2 weeks since my last post, shame shame.
We've been busy. Here you'll see a few pictures from a night in the city. We all went down for Bike the Drive. Stayed a night, rode bikes, had some drinks out for a little date night, while Grandma and Grandpa stayed with the boys.
Trip to the zoo last week to check out the new home of the bears.
Oh just a little big giant Black Hawks Stanley cup victory, shot some city pride pictures while the games were going on.
And little Miles is pushing along a little walker, won't be long before he'll throw that down and strut his stuff on his own.

Hilarities of Henry
Here are a few recent conversations I've had with Henry:
While applying my deodorant the other day...
Henry :"What is that for?"
Mom: "Its for grown ups so we don't stink"
Henry: "Dinosaurs are extinct"
While dining out after our Bike the Drive event this weekend, Henry saddled up to the bar stool at the bar.
The rest of us filed into a booth.
Henry came back to us a minute later as we were all discussing menu and drink options.
The bartender walks back to us with a glass of milk, setting it in front of Henry.
We all look at each other, with the I didn't order that for him face.
Bartender: "I think this is the first glass of milk ever ordered at the bar"
Henry :"Thank you"
