Homecoming

Henry visits his alma mater. He was very confident. Dove right into 3 books he brought to read to the class. He even addressed the group with done questions to engage them. " who likes their grandpa?" He asked and also " who has been in a plane? And where did you fly?" All questions related to his books.

Mom and Henry Date Night

I took Henry a few weeks back to see a local high school production of Seussical the Musical.  We got dressed up and had a fun time out!  He was thoroughly engaged and behaved so well.  Not sure how much he really understood, the costumes were exactly stuffed Halloween looking versions of Horton the elephant, rather a kid dressed in an gray business suit.  The music was catchy and the performers did great.  When our friends left a bit after intermission (it was getting late), Henry insisted on staying til the end.  So back in we went to finish it up.  Such a great evening with my big, little man.

He handled his appt all his own. Doctor asked him all the questions, what do you like to eat? What does this say? (Pointing to her computer screen). Also added some more lifestyle questions. I clearly was not the one delivering info for the first time about his development. As sad as that is, I left glowing with pride that he and I are both doing things right. He is right where he needs to be physically and psychologically - I'm making sure he is eating right, keeping physically fit and challenging him academically. It's teamwork everyday and we make a great team!
