Basketball!

Henry had his first basketball practice this week. There were a shocking 25 kids in the session. I was so pleased to see such community interest and involvement. Parents can sit and watch on the bleachers which is nice since at pre-school age often classes don't allow parents to watch. He really enjoyed the first practice and I'm happy to just have him try out different activities.

While listening to Queen's "Another one bites the dust", Henry walked away singing..."Number one bust the dust". So now that is sort of our vacuuming song :)

14,110 feet

Pike's Peak. Elevation 14,110 feet. Beautiful. 37 degrees. The end of our fun Colorado Springs fun and the beginning of more mountain adventures up the Poudre, Denver and Ft. Collins.

Tap the Rockies

Headed to where the elevation is NOT sea level. Looking forward to some R & R, some wilderness adventures, and some great friend and family time.

Will miss the kiddos, but they will enjoy their grandparent time greatly !
