I'm 3 months old

10K Sunday

2nd year in a row for me running this beautiful fall 10k through Oak Park. Leaves on the ground, fall decorations on the houses, and the best cheering section I could wish for. Happy enough with my time, considering I haven't returned to any running routine post-baby.

I don't have any shots of the daddy in his lycra today, but I do have one cutie-patootie shot of Henry cheering on the daddy in lycra! Go Faster! And also I got Miles looking oh-so ready for Halloween!

Block Party!

First ever block party happened on our block last week. Fire engine, wagon rides, and bike decorating were the highlights of the afternoon.

Long Distance Dedication

Henry is getting so good at reading books, we know its just reciting books really but its still cute. Here he laid the phone down so he could "read" to Nana. He even stopped half way through the book to move the phone closer to the book, so she could "see" better, I suppose.

Fun Fall Weekend

So much fun this weekend. First ever block party on our block was Saturday. We shared some fun times with neighbors we've already met and met some new ones! Rain didn't even keep us away. Sunday we had a whirlwind day of racing. Headed out the door at 6am, so I could do my first little race since having Miles. I was happy enough with my time, considering the running legs were way out of shape. Then we packed up and headed out for cyclo cross racing. Brian did 2 races! He did great!! And we ended the weekend with steaks on the grill for our 6th anniversary. Busy and fun weekend!!

Fun on a rainy day

Here's those 2 brothers. Henry continues to really enjoy holding Miles. And I think Coppi is starting to feel a bit left out. She knew sleeping on the baby toy would get our attention. She's not to sleep here, but she does a good job of looking cute trying.
